The 2025 Ford Maverick is having a great year already. Voted one of Car and Drivers Top Ten, the Maverick is living up to its name; this truck is truly unlike any other. And now has the accolades to support it. Here’s some of what the award-winning Maverick offers drivers in Anson for 2025.
Maverick Lobo
The new top trim for the 2025 Maverick is the Lobo. The Maverick Lobo is a sneaky street rocket with a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 making 238 horsepower and matched to the same seven-speed paddle-shift automatic as the Ford Focus ST. With a curb weight of about 3,800 pounds, the Maverick Lobo goes from zero to 60 in under six seconds. With a lowered suspension and upgraded brakes, the Maverick Lobo will hold the corners driving around Snyder.
It is a Truck Afterall
When equipped with the towing package, the Ford Maverick can tow up to 4,000 pounds, enough to tow around a second Ford Maverick. The bed can handle up to 1,500 pounds of cargo, plenty enough for trips to the hardware store or helping a friend in Sweetwater move.
Hybrid Power
While the Maverick Lobo has its own unique engine and transmission setup, the rest of the Maverick Lineup consists of either the same turbo 2.0-liter mated to an eight-speed automatic or a hybrid powertrain made up of a 2.5-liter and an electric motor that makes 191 horsepower combined. The hybrid features a continuously variable automatic transmission. The Hybrid is rated for up to 42 mpg city.
Connection on the Go
Every trim of the Ford Maverick features an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, so you’re always connected in Abilene. The infotainment system also features standard wireless connectivity for phones with a 13.2-inch touchscreen mounted on the dash.
